Ingredients

  • 2 cans crescent roll dough
  • 12 slices deli ham 3/4 pound
  • 16 slices pepper jack cheese
  • 2-3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 2 teaspoons fresh parsley or 1 teaspoon dried

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Press one container of crescent dough into baking sheet, pinching seams together. Bake 8-10 minutes until lightly golden.
  • While baking, melt butter and minced garlic in microwave-safe bowl, then stir in parsley.
  • Remove dough from oven and cool 2-3 minutes. Spread thin layer of Dijon mustard across entire surface.
  • Place half of pepper jack cheese slices evenly across mustard layer, overlapping slightly.
  • Arrange deli ham slices over cheese layer, folding if needed for extra substance.
  • Add remaining pepper jack cheese slices on top of ham.
  • Place second crescent roll dough layer on top, pressing edges to seal. Brush with garlic butter mixture.
  • Bake 12-15 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Cool 3-5 minutes before cutting and serving.

Honey ham or black forest ham work best
